I sometimes see evidence of corruption in the returned card data...How can I fix this?
SREDKey:
Overview: On some hosts you may experience occasional corruption of the data that is returned from a keyboard emulating reader like the SREDKey. You may find that the same reader works sometime and inexplicable fails at other times. You may see when looking at the data that some characters seem to be missing or there may be extra characters. This happens because the reader is sending data to the host system too quickly and the host cannot receive it correctly. To resolve this issue you should try adjusting the polling interval. Do this:
- Download, install and launch the SREDKey USB Demo
- Type in the command 53 14 01 05
- Click the Send Command button
- Ensure that the reader responds with 06
