My SREDKey Displays "Key Not Injected." How Can I Fix This?
The SREDKey displays "Key Not Injected" when I manually enter the card number and swipe a card.
A: This problem indicates the unit does not have an encryption key injected, so it won't work with any financial cards. This is because the SREDKey is a PCI-certified security device and only output data in an encrypted form. Without the encryption key injected, it cannot encrypt and output any card data.
Contact the supplier who you received the SREDKey from and request them to inject your specific payment processor's encryption key by a certified key injection facility. You can also contact your payment processor to find out if they have a designated key injection facility to inject their key for you.
