How to Enable TransArmor on a Device

ID TECH devices require two steps to use TransArmor: loading a TransArmor certificate and setting the TransArmor ID:

  1. Load the TransArmor certificate with the Load Certificate for TransArmor Encryption (C7-50) command.
  2. Set the device's TransArmor TID with the Set TransArmor TID (C7-51) command.

Note that the TransArmor certificate must be in DER format when sent to the reader.
