Q: Which End of the Cable Should Be Connected to the L100?
A. The end WITHOUT the power connector goes to the L100. The end WITH the power connector goes to the host PC.
Q: Is the L100 Backward compatible with Any Existing PINpad (e.g., SmartPIN K100, etc.)?
A: Yes.
It's a PCI PTS-compliant device, right?
A: Yes.
Is the Removal Detection Activation/Deactivation Process the Same as the SmartPIN's Process?
A: The L100 password is 8 digits, the older PINpad is 6 digits. When two new passwords are modified in the L100, the user does not need to restart the device and input the new passwords immediately.
What Key Injection Method Does the L100 Support?
A: All L100s support direct key injection. L100s with firmware version v1.03.006 or above also support remote key injection.
