What torque is recommended to mount readers that have M3 and M3.5 inserts for mounting screw?
Many ID TECH readers have threaded inserts for mounting the reader to a fixed object like a counter top or a cabinet. ID TECH recommends using a split washer and torquing the screws to .3 Nm to .5 Nm for M3 screws and .4 Nm to .7 Nm for M3.5 screws.
