Answer:

This feature is supported in VP3300 firmware V1.01 .147 and higher

Turn on the beeping:

  1. confirm the firmware is at least v.147

  2. add DFED5A0120 to the Terminal Settings

After a transaction, if a card is seated in the dip slot, the unit will beep until the card is removed.

Turn off the beeping:

  1. confirm the firmware is at least v.147

  2. add DFED5A0100 to the Terminal Settings

After a transaction, if a card is seated in the dip slot, the unit will not beep.
