How to re-configure the SecureMag from the USB HID to the USB KB mode or vice versa?

IDTECH offers two different types of USB Interface SecureMag readers, they are USB HID with model # IDRE-3351xxx or USB KB (Keyboard emulation) IDRE-3341xxx. If you bought the model with the wrong type USB interface for their app, it won't work. To correct this, you can either swap with your supplier for the correct model or try to reconfigure the reader to the correct interface type expected by your app. You can switch the reader's interface type by following the numbered steps as shown in the screenshot below using our SecureMag USB Demo:
Launch the Demo with the SecureMag connected directly to one of the USB ports on the host PC and wait for the Demo to report the interface type of the reader detected
Select the desired USB Interface type (USB HID or USB KB) from the General Settings menu
Confirm the good response of the Ack "06"
Wait for the Demo to re-detect the reader and report the new USB Interface type on top (see # 1)
