ID Tech's audio jack readers tend to be made for integration with mobile devices. Support is typically focused towards iOS, Android, Windows tablets, and some desktop integration among the UniPay series, and specific to the UniMag and Shuttle readers, there is dedicated support for Windows 8 phones, Blackberry, and iOS Phonegap, per demonstrated integration using javascript plugin. ID Tech audio jack readers have been integrated towards various solutions for dedicated POS integration, as well as for other various reading enterprises among other card formats and purposes, such as AAMVA, loyalty, or student/membership ID scanning. Our more recent audio jack mobile card readers have been developed supporting features such as device side encryption, as well as certified with EMV Co for integration towards payment solutions.
