PAE is a semi-integrated middleware that simplifies payment processing on ID TECH hardware. It handles payment workflows like sales, refunds, voids, authorization and more. The benefit of using PAE is that it speeds up the integration to certified processors and L3 certifications. By doing so, we can reduce PCI scope.
