Note

Ensure Make sure you select the correct Firmware Update Package for your device.   There are currently two options available: NEO 1.01 or NEO 1.10.

Updating Firmware

  1. Download and unzip Firmware Update Package the firmware update package from VP3300USB (IDVP-XXXX) - Home. 
  2. Ensure Make sure the reader is in USB-HID mode (you cannot update the firmware from USB-keyboard mode).
  3. If upgrading from NEO 1.01 to NEO 1.10, ensure you follow the guide below:
    Updating the VP3300 and VP8300 Kernel from 1.01 to 1.10
  4. Use Open the latest SDK Demo App version of uDemo and select the Update Device Firmware command.   Navigate to the firmware image extracted in step 1 and select Open.
