How to retrieve the entire configuration setting string from a SecuRED reader?

When I contacted the IDTECH support team for help with my SecuRED device, I was asked to provide the setting string of the device. How do I get it?

Below are the steps and screenshots you can follow to retrieve the configuration setting string from a USB Interface SecuRED using the SecuRED Demo. 



1. Launch the SecuRED DEmo with the SecuRED reader connected to a USB port on the PC

2. Select the "USB" option under the Select mode menu

3. Select the "Read Current configuration" option under the General Setting menu

4. Copy the entire OUT string from the bottom window paste it into the email message area and send it to IDTECH along with all other information as requested 



If your reader is a serial interface model, select the "COM" option in step 2. The rest part of the steps are the same.
