ID TECH devices require two steps to use TransArmor: loading a TransArmor certificate and setting the TransArmor ID:

  1. Load the TransArmor ID certificate with the Load Certificate for TransArmor Encryption command(C7-50) command.
  2. Set the device's TransArmor ID TID with the Set TransArmor TID command(C7-51) command.

Note that the TransArmor certificate must be in DER format when sent to the reader.
