Which end of the cable should be connected to the L100?

A. The end WItHOUT the power connector goes to the L100. The end WITH the power connector goes the host PC. 


Is the L100 backwards compatible with any of the existing Pinpad (e.g. SmartPin K100B100, etc.)?

A: Yes.

It's a PCI PTS compliant device, right?

A: Yes.

Is the removal detection activation/de-activation process same as the SmartPin?

A: L100 password is 8 digitals, the older Pinpad is 6 digitals. When 2 new passwords are modified in L100, user need not restart device and input new password at once.

What about the key injection process?  Is it the same as our existing pinpads?

A: L100 support both TR31 key injection and TR34 (X509 certificate) key injection. The Remote Key Injection function is not supported now. The TR31 key injection is the same as our existing pinpads.
