VP3600 Firmware: How to check the version and update
Production vs. Demo Firmware
IMPORTANT: You must load the correct firmware for you Model Number. You can only load Demo firmware to a Demo model VP3600 and only Production firmware to a Production model VP3600. VP3600 has demo model numbers and Production model numbers. Demo model numbers will have a D at or near the end (e.g. IDMR-PBT93133AEBD, IDMR-PBT93133TEBD), Production units will not (.e.g. IDMR-PBT93133AEB, IDMR-PBT93133TEB)

How to update the Firmware on a VP3600:
1.Extract the VP3600 Demo/Production Firmware Update Package.zip
2. From the extracted folder, find and launch IDTechBootload.EXE
3. Press the Reload APP File Path button,
4. Navigate to the extracted folder, press OK
5. Select the files you wish to update or check Select ALL
6. Press Update, confirm the file selection by pressing Continue
7. Wait for each file's progress bar to complete
8. When finished the new firmware version will be reported near the bottom of the window
9. Close the window, success
