Some computers may benefit from adjusting the keyboard polling interval setting. The default value is 01. On some computers, the card output may show evidence of corruption. Or, or you may notice that the reader works on one machine, but , inexplicably, not on another. This may indicate that the problem machine is having trouble keeping up with the readers reader's output. You can try adjusting the keyboard polling interval setting. The image below shows the command to change the setting to 05. This has be found to be necessary , which may be necessary for some machines. Values other that than 01 or 05 have not shown to be more beneficialhelp.
Download and install the SREDKey USB Demo tool and send the 53 14 01 05 command to change the value.
