The VP3300BT reader, by default, enters a sleep/idle mode after 25 seconds without an activity. Its' NOT required to pair or scan the BT device for re-connectivity. You just need to push the power button on the side of the reader. The reader will re-connect to the device in about 15~30 seconds automatically. Once you receive the callback function "deviceconnected()", it should be good to go.
