Follow the steps below to verify the key in your SecureHead or SecureMag:
First, use the SecureMag USB Demo to send the Check Security Level command 52 7E to verify that a data key has been injected. Verify that the reader's security level is not set to level 1 (which indicates there is no key injected).
Then, you can send the 52 51 command to get the KSN and check the KSI, which is the first few bytes of the KSN, to see if it's key for your payment processor.
