Instruction

 Introduction (Establishing Server Connection)

When opening the application, the system will establish a connection to the server housing the repository of log files.

If the Tree view below is empty, it indicates that the server is not connected. Please troubleshoot according to the error window prompts, or manually log in to the server drive.

Network Drive : \\192.168.5.8\TS_Log\

ID: administrator

Password: 16964727

P.S. As the connection is established to the company server. Therefore, connectivity is only available when using the company's internal network.

 Scanning Log Files

After successfully connecting to the server, the system will automatically read the database (db) files to display the log status on the server.

This database file is updated every day at midnight. Additionally, at noon each day, the local computer's log files are uploaded to the server.

If you need to view the latest log files between these times, please choose to manually scan the files (as there are numerous files, it may take a considerable amount of time).

The button for manual scanning is as shown in the figure below:

 Select folder

In the tree diagram, the parent node represents the product name, while the subdirectories contain version numbers of TS. Upon selection, it will display the log files within that folder. If the product name is chosen, it will display log files for all version numbers.

Additionally, there is a search function at the top of the system that allows you to query by entering the TS name or product serial number.

 Filter

After selecting a folder, it will be displayed in the List view at the bottom right. All filtering results will be shown within the "Result" group on the right.
Filtering can be performed using the following functions:

  1. Filter by Serial Number: Display only the logs corresponding to the entered serial number in this folder.

  1. Filter by Time: Display logs in this folder based on the selected time period.

  1. Filter by Test Mode: When activated, a menu on the right will appear, allowing the selection of displayed test modes.
P.S. Right-clicking the mouse allows for convenient selection or deselection of test mode filtering.

  1. Filter by Test Results: Display only the test results in this folder.

List-View

The List-View at the bottom right allows for multiple selections, and right-clicking enables file export. This facilitates the convenient saving of log files separately after applying filters.

 Backup setting

Clicking on "Parameter setting" in the "Setting" menu at the top of the window will open the configuration page. This page is primarily for configuring scanning and backup settings:

  1. Group of Scan log files:

Path: Set the path for scanning server-side files.
Interval: Set the interval for scanning log files. A value of 0 means no proactive updates (as logs are currently backed up daily, there is no need for frequent re-scanning).

2. Group of Backup:

Backup Path: Once the backup path is selected, the following two buttons can be used to initiate backups:

  1. Backup DB File

  2. 2. Backup All Log Files on the Server (Note: This step may take a considerable amount of time)
