For VP6825 to work as a standalone terminal, it requires ID TECH to develop the application because we understand the RTOS environment and have all the development tools. For a customer to do so, it would require more than just providing an SDK. It would require understanding MicroC-OS, understanding memory management/loading restrictions, etc. This is quite heavy work and the development cycle is long as well. So, currently, we promote VP6825 as a peripheral, and we provide SDK to allow customers' own development on their host. (either PC or a raspberry pi...)
