The If your SecureKey or SREDkey unit displays "Activating..." indicates " when it is plugged in and never changes to "Ready" or "Swipe Card or Key-in Card Number," the device is being de-activated for some unknown reasons. They need to be back here for service and re-activating.

SREDkey units must be injected with an encryption key to function at all. SecureKey units will output card data in plain text (not encrypted) unless they are injected with a key. The key is usually injected at the time of purchase by the provider. |
