When "Set Terminal Configuration is not 2C" then send 04-09, it will respond with 0x05 on older firmware (v1.01.055). The bug has been fixed on V1.01.079 (See CS-3385)
When upgrading the firmware using the Android SDK Demo, the firmware txt file needs to be renamed to "IDT_Firmware_VP3300_AJ.txt" and stored in the root folder of their Android device.
