All Spectrum Pro tamper problem is similar to United Airline. It is a hardware design issue (TS-18955)
There are 2 chips in the Spectrum Pro. Back LED flashing red means they can't communicate with each other. This is a firmware issue that has been fixed. Tamper unit's LED is solid yellow and red.
