First, send the C7-37 command to get the Data Encryption Enable flag (see steps in the screenshot below):

Then refer to the NEO IDG excerpt below for the response byte definition to determine if the MSR/MSD, CT, and CTLS encryption is enabled.

For example, the 02 in the Results window above shows bit 1 is on 1, which means MSR/MSD Data Encryption is enabled, and bit 0 is 0 which means the CT/CTLS is disabledImage Added

The response byte "03" in this example above shows both the MSR and EMV encryption are enabled. If the response is "02", that means only the MSR data will be enabled, but not the EMV data.
